I've spent a little time away from this but I think the answer is no. From what I remember, I changed the code so as too force the tiff file to be saved as jpeg compresion (I have a feeling that by default this does not happen). The first thing I did was try to reopen the resultant image in the demo, and after no joy tried imageing which worked! Give us a few days to get back to this so I can figure out exactly what I did and I shall report back.
