Dear Edwin,

The Image1.Picture.Graphic property does not necessarily contain an object dervied from TDibGraphic. It may be VCL TBitmap. This depends on which formats are defined in the Envision.Inc file, and you need to make sure to included the EnReg unit in a uses clauses. This is why you are getting the invalid type cast.

When you are not sure what type of graphic the Graphic property holds, you took the right approach to first create a temporary TDibGraphic.

Instead of using,

Image.Picture.Graphic := Graphic;

This should replace the Graphic property alltogether

Also, to refresh a TImage, just call Image.Invalidate;

Best regards,
