Hi Lars,

This may be the behavior with the TBitmap class, but with the TBitmapGraphic class from

Envision, this should not be the case.

The most straight forward approach is to load the graphic first in a TBitmapGraphic then

assign it to your image.

...

BitmapGraphic.LoadFromFile(...);

Image.Picture.Assign(BitmapGraphic);

...

If you want to use Picture.LoadFromFile directly and use the TBitmapGraphic, make sure the

Envision.Inc file includes the envision bitmap support, and unregister the TBitmap class

with the VCL, for example,

TPicture.UnregisterGraphicClass(TBitmap);

I don't recommend this approach if you have design time forms loaded with TBitmap graphics,

because they will no longer load if the TBitmap format is unregistered.

Best regards,

Michel
