Subject: Just a question, please do not start a bash session...

I am the mother of a bi-racial child and she has done pretty well on the State and Mini-National level. We have never tried AGG, but some of our pageant "friends" have and they advised me to look closely at the winners and notice all of the "blondes" they have. They said that even though my daughter is "cute", that she is not the type of child that AGG would use to represent a title. I don't think that they would intially try to discourage us but, I am unsure what to think or do in this situation. They often are in our corner cheering for her but, I don't think that they feel like she should even go. What are some of your opinions for those of you who have done this pageant before? TRUTHFULLY, this is a lot of money to spend to be immedately overlooked while on stage.

There are plenty of Nat'l level bi-Racial kids out there winning all over the US. Your friends probally feel like you dont have one of the above things to compete on this level. AGG has had plenty of BiRacial kids win big too! LY is a grand, JC was a Mini I'm sure MTG was a queen. Its total pkg, if you've got it together by all means go! Its the greateset Christmas pageant you'll ever attend. Been there done it! Going back again this year. Hope this helps.
