i'd still go with another forward target

Checkers as lone forward (+ Cox) has faired well for a long time but that was with Elliott also playing as defacto marking target and latterly WHE (or JDG) as the hybrid target

With neither of those guys available and a fleet of small forwards, you're relying on the mids to step up & contribute to scoreboard pressure (Pendles last week)

Of the last man standing argument, I'm personally less convinced with Kreugs than AJ ..but can understand the 'work to do to earn selection' messaging
