as a warm up, and not get injuries. The coaches want to ensure their AFL system is being used and perfected there. I don’t even think winning a VFL game is the highest of requirements, I think those games are for learning as much as winning.

Mark W’s comment about a senior players body of work is correct. Putting players who are not ready or consistent in the AFL does cause issues.

Younger players will work their skills and build strength, and currently our list of experienced players is quite healthy.

We are on top of the ladder, Cox will be selected above Steene, and Cix will be worthy of that selection.

I’m sure the club takes the VFL seriously although they will manage their players and game plan through there.

I generally look at the emergency list, that to me is what I call the encouragement list. Hayes was listed last week, and without any intention of him playing. Let’s see if Steene is listed there this week.
