Well I am back again. I rode Spec again today...well that's not so unusual I guess. Anyway he decided that today he didn't want to do as he told.....It was the biggest fight i have ever had with him....It must be that time of year!!!
Anyway he decided he was going to jump the triple I placed him at. It was lower than what I jump in competition...maybe that is why he played up??!!!!!
Anyway it didn't seem to matter which way I put him at he refused. I started to slowly lose my temper. I then remebered something my instructor taught me. I did a full lap of the arena at a canter and then I approached the jump again. This time I put the whip in the hand he was ducking out on and held it up to the side of his head. Well that finally work.
I do have to remember though that he is only five years old and has only been competing for 2 years. Though he should know better than that.
Once I cooled down and hosed Spec off I took him to his paddock and allowed him to run around for a couple hours before putting him back into his stable.
Whilst Spec was enjoying himself I put all m y young horses out. Checked on all my mares and handled my babies.
I had to hose Spec down before rugging him and putting him away as he had worked up another sweat.
I then prepared and fed all the horses their morning feeds.

After lunch I had a few lessons. Most of them were on my geldings. We went for a long trail ride that incorporated lots of jumps!!!! I had a very experienced group of riders with me. I great time was had by all!!!
By the time we got back, hosed down, rugged and put the horses back it was time for the horses evening feed.
I knew it must have been time because Spec and Richie were banging at their doors.
I feed all stabled horses their hard feed and hay. Putting on their extra rugs for the night.
I then went out and fed all the paddock and boarding horses.

I then came back here and made myself I delicious meal of stir fried chicken, vegetables, and noodles.

Well I hope everyone else had a good day riding like I did.
