And snaps once at the air. What had he done? He had had his thoughts, yes, but he had not pursued them; he ad patiently been waiting. He went and lay down beneath an old, scraggly tree. It appeared that in this place one could not ave any free will or thoughts. His head hit the ground with a thud and he closed his eyes, ears still pricked slightly.
