I think Essendon is getting its fair whack over the scandal - that the club thought Hawthorn and collingwood were doing it too is no excuse.
But no one is going to get out of this untarnished. Not the AFL, Asada nor it would seem the previous government.
I think governments (of all persuasions) stick their noses into way too many things that should not concern them.
