We would never have won 2005 withou the most unbelievable injury run ever. We made one change from memory in the last 10 weeks of the season.

Rodney Eade was a shocker at playing injured guys. Roosy made it an emphasis and Horse has carried it on. If our guys get injured we are very very conservative and disciplined around resourcing. If you look at spending on football departments excluding salary cap us Coll and Hawthorn usually spend far more than any other club, which says we are probably good. On know they spent some time with AC Milan benchmarking best practice on injury management. I would think more the top teams financially are able to invest more in injury management

That said of our best 22 we have had Pyke, Alex Johnston (ACL) Mitchell Hannerbury missing for a arge part of the season.

Mick is right though at the moment we are lucky do have some good depth to cover injuries. Derickx, Towers, Biggs, Laidler, Zak Jones are all OK at Afl level
