If a side is, in itself, simply lacking ability then 100 point losses or worse can be justified.
But to actually show something and then completely collapse once the blow torch comes on, well I think that might rank as close to the most inept effort I have seen in three decades of inept shit.
I want someone fired on Tuesday. The fitness guy, the psych guy, the midfield coach, maybe even the senior coach or CEO. But someone.
What should happen is someone fall on their sword. Sometimes when you have performed poorly in a job for an extended period of time (for whatever reason), you should just admit you are bereft of ideas and give someone else a crack. There is no shame in that. I've done it myself.
The question is who.
