You are aware that the South Korean government pumps endless cash into the likes of Hyundai and Kia.
And that the German government pumps endless cash into its carmakers at a rate of five times the amount PER PERSON compared with the Australian government.
And that the American government pumped endless cash into buying shares of GM and Chrysler...

Regardless of that, every year someone has to finish bottom three, and those clubs probably won't turn a profit that year.
Swings and roundabouts. The AFL has made money out of the Dees in the past and will again. None of this is terminal.
As long as the AFL doesn't stoop to helping pay a clubs fines when they are found guilty of doing very naughty things. That would be wrong.
