The afl needs to be harsh or Wada will simply escalate out of their hands. This is one of the biggest drug scandals globally ever, certainly where a team has been in an organised conspiracy.

I think the issue is, 90% of AFL supporters believe it was driven by Hird, he should never be let near the sport again. Numbers have a different view
