The wankfest over the Sydney win on a shitty little ground in Round 1 against mediocre opposition is quite amusing. It won't last, especially if Buddy gets 'distracted' again.
Freo. They still have Pav up front! Can't see them improving much. Old dogs/new tricks etc. It wouldn't surprise to see Ross bail at the season's end.
The Tiges seem to have reached a level they can't really rise above. Good enough for the 8. Just not good enough to win 3 games of finals football. If they'd landed Treloar or Danger that might have turbocharged their midfield enough to push them through. They might be one classy forward short though. They need a Stringer type (doesn't everybody?!)
I thought it was refreshing to see Carlton play with freedom & spirit again. They really need to keep Thomas out of their 22.
