Do you mean the country with an unemployment rate of 5.4% compared to others at around 20%, and it was higher during Howards time.

Inflation under control.

Interest rates at the lowest they have been for a decade.

An A$ booming on the back of some very ordinary economies around the globe.

One of only 7 countries in the world with the best credit rating available.

Debt levels that don't even rate a mention when compared to European economies, and the US.

A strong safe banking system that is the envy of the world.

And an economy that continues to record POSITIVE growth when everyone else around us has gone backwards.

I'm sorry, what mess are you talking about?
