funny that you talk about zwan topping the charts when even the pumpkins haven't topped the charts for years.

sure, billy corgan is an important figure of rock of the past few years, but the pumpkins are far from popular. they sold a couple of records, based on singles, cos some kids COULD hear it and they LIKED it and that was that.

just to let you know, the pumpkins have one of the most devoted, if obsessive, fervent fanbase on the internet.

and you know what, maybe you should be happy that papa m, tortoise, slint and whatnot are now reaching a bigger audience due to pajo's participation in zwan. more good music to spread around, right?

apparently not. having an elitist attitude about music doesn't help people find the gems amid the torrid crap of popular music. and i feel that way about the pumpkins, too.
