i so cant believe what people will say about a band before they hear them. i find it absolutely amazing. not only that but i mean they sound so stupid especially to some one who has listened to the smashing pumpkins and knows what they were capable of. i listen to quite a few bands and i play 3 instruments. so i would say in comparrison to most of the "music" out there the pumpkins are fabulous, not only that billy kicks ass as a musician and jimmy is probably the best drummer i have heard. just cause you cant dance to it doesnt mean it sucks. and if thats how you judge a band well look for a copy of britneys new album in a cd store near you. there is probably more substance in ADORE than any other album i own,its literally brillant. and im sure zwan will be just as brilliantthey seem to be so far from what i've heard.
yet unfortunatelly both just like tori amos and king adora will go unappreciated by mtv and kids that like anything with a catchy riff.
