I think your being a little harsh. I mean, this guy was doing Slint back when Mogwai were still swimming in their daddy's balls. And then just when we were catching up with Slint, he's already moved on to Palace and Tortoise.. So he's been in bands that are so unique, he creates a style of music with each band. There's a Slint-style of music, a Tortoise-style of music, and a Palace-style. How can you discredit everything he's ever done because he's playing with a celebrity now? I find it especially ironic that you haven't even heard the music yet you judge. Pajo's won my trust over the years, and if he wants to play with Corgan, then he's earned it. I seriously doubt that it will suck. Admittedly, Billy's voice isn't my cup of tea. But if people like Will Oldham and Dave Pajo (who are known to be difficult) enjoy playing with Billy Corgan than who am I to judge? From what Pajo wrote on this website, he seems happy. Do you have to be poor and starving and miserable to have integrity? Do you have to be rich and famous to be a bastard?
