Well, we are back from our travels. The Benalmedna Costa was a bit cool. In fact they had the coldest November in 30 years, but it was warm and pleasant most of the time. Most days we went to the gym in the morning, walked by the seashore in the afternoon and ate out every other evening - self-catering (not starving) on alternate days.
We went on two coach trips. Ronda was an interesting old Roman city with the oldest bullring in Spain. The views from the park were breathtaking. Tangier was a real eye-opener. We went round some of the richest and poorest parts of the city. The richest have mansions. The poorest, which is most of it, have tiny rooms with one cold water tap in the street. The casbah was full of street sellers that swamped us wherever we went. It was OK to go for a trip, but we won't go back. Aunty Janis is worth one camel which she got to ride. They wouldn't let me bring the camel home, so I brought Aunty Janis back! I am worth half a camel, but they wouldn't let Aunty Janis bring the baby camel home - even though she promised to be a good mother to it; so, she brought me home instead.
The house was still standing when we got home and the fridge half full, so the Richard and Dan had a good time whilst we were away. However, it was all their friends who were really glad to see us back home because we are better cooks!
Anyway, I hope you got my e-mails about the computer. It is now sitting in my loft waiting for your mum to send me the motherboard manual, CD-ROM and other software.
How is the trip. All I've seen is that its hot and you are lying under a fan. Have you moved yet? Done anything exciting? How many camels are you worth? Take care of yourself.
