If you look on the Streetmap website at this address;

Look at the square on the far left of the middle row and Foster Road would have been in the top right hand corner of that square. It ran between the junction of Tillitson Road / Cambridge Road and Gleadless Road. It disappeared with the re-development on this area in the early 1970's.
