Subject: Windle Descendants

Are there any descendants out there of a Herbert Windle, born 1867 to parents Charles & Sarah Windle? By the 1881 Census, they were living at 17 Franklin street, Ecclesall Bierlow,Yorkshire.....Later in life, Herbert Windle had a daughter named Nellie born 4/7/1893...Her 1st marriage was to Arthur Elliott in 1914, but he was killed during the war..She was a Postlady in Heeley at the time & had 2 children, but both died before age 3...... She then married a William Henry Marshall on 3/2/1918 in the Parish Church, Heeley....Both Nellie & William lived at 69 & 90 or 95 Wells Rd, before their marriage...Herbert Windle was a laypreacher in the Parish Church, when Nellie was growing up...Her uncle was a publican in the Inn in Wells Rd.....
If anyone can help me with any information at all on any member of my husband's family that I have written about, please contact me, as I will be most grateful......
