I am the person who sent you the Email thro Ancestry.
The person Leslie who I was looking for, turned out to be my dads cousin, Leslie Hall. Jack thorpe married my dads mums sister, Annie Hall. It turns out they had no children, so the took them in, as my dad used to call him "OUR LES" I thought it was their child. I am now waiting for the 1922 census to come to see if I can find out why Les Hall went to live with Jack & Annie. I am 81 in a mounths time, so I might not live till then. So Les Goodwin, if you see this, you can Email me.
Bye Dave
