Gunn: Spike, you look like a goon!
Spike: When in Wisconsin, do as the Wisconsinites do, pet.
Gunn: You still look like a goon.
Sockbuttmonkey: EEP?
Gunn: Good question, I'm not sure. Spike, what do you think the Lady Forward statue is holding in her hand there?
Spike: Dunno. Looks like a cow.



Spike: It's raining.
Gunn: I know, but the chairs are so pretty.
Spike: You git! It's still raining!!
Sockbuttmonkey: EEP!! EEP!!!!!!



Spike and Gunn: SOCKBUTTMONKEY!! COME BACK!!

And so the story happened like this. While Eye of Botox and I were attempting to get Spike and Gunn ready for the lake shot, SockButtMonkey complained furiously about how the ink in her fabric was running because of the rain. Since she made such a fuss, we to just let her lie down in the box while we took the photo of the guys. Just as we were about to take the shot, SockButtMonkey lifted the flaps of the box to catch the wind and sailed the wind right into the lake. I immediately eeked and scrambled over to the edge, laid down on my stomach, and pulled the slightly waterlogged box out of the water. Eye of Botox was completely useless, standing nearby laughing her head off. Neither of us got a photo of SockButtMonkey trying to escape. Me because I was trying to rescue her, Eye of Botox because she was just laughing too hard.



After all the excitement, we went to brunch over at The Great Dane.
Gunn: You really gonna eat all that? I thought you only drank blood.
Spike: Of course I eat food. I'm not a Neanderthal like Captain Forehead.



Spike: *drinking Crop Circle Wheat* Gunn, is that Stormy's breast behind ButtMonkey?
SBM: *drinking Old Glory American Pale Ale* EEP!
Gunn: *drinking German Pils* Yes, I did notice that. I believe it IS Stormy's breast.

I guffawed aloud reading about Sock Monkey's attempted escape! :-)

And seeing the Capitol made me want to go to the Saturday Farmer's market. It's got to be one of the best in the country.

You made me laugh after a very sad night. Thanks! I loved the escape attempt, Cheesehead Spike, and that great brunch. I'll have to try that place if I'm ever in town!
