Subject: James at the crazy donkey on thurdsay night

hello to eveyone. i have been a lurker for many years and have now felt compelled to write. why you ask? well i read the thread about the concery at the crazy donkey and i was their also and i must say that james never had a lollypop. no lollypop was seen by me and if this girl was at the bar then i was closer to the stage than she was. i hung out at the stairs b/c the friend i went with had broken her humerus and dislocated her shoulder so she was in a sling and was not about to get too close. i however had my camera and got up a few times for photos but stupid me forgot to charge the batteries and it died on me.
i mean no offence to anyone but james did NOT suck on any lollypop.

Well, the person who did the write-up of the concert posted some photos she took there at

Isn't that a lollipop in James' mouth, especially in this one? Sure looks like one.

Sometimes you can see things from one angle that you'll completely miss from others, even if you're closer. It happens.

And now you know -- always bring extra batteries. Lots of 'em, and make sure they're all freshly charged if they're rechargeables. Maybe even bring a second camera, just in case. I always bring two cameras, mostly because one has a nice zoom lens and higher resolution, but the older one is better in low light without flash, which gives me that option, plus I keep a small extra camera case filled with extra batteries and media cards, complete with a little plastic bag to put discharged batteries into so they don't get mixed up with the fresh ones. One GotR concert and usually around 250 photos of James and the guys later (and a couple pairs of batteries drained), I go home happy. Must preserve the Pookiness for posterity, after all.
