Subject: Have we won the Save Angel campaign?

As an online community as a whole, each and every one of us has contributed something. Some hugely dedicated and talented people have set up websites and organised rallies and instigated original campaigns such as chocolates, flowers and a mobile billboard. Many of us have sent in postcards and kicked up a ruckus on the WB's posting board.
Whatever happens we've won. If Angel doesn't come back that's a terrible shame but as a fanbase we've shown on a global scale that fans can be organised, dedicated and intelligent to a degree never seen before. Ladies and Gentlemen, we have set new heights in campaigning.

If the war is over, we are victorious. If there's more to do then any and everyobdy can be sure as hell expecting every damn Angel fan there is to do what we need to win.

Yay us!!

As an organized effort, we made a spectacular showing of shared strength, committment and resources, plus showed a lot of heart and hopefully moral support to a great bunch of writers, producers, performers, and crew people.

But what alarms me the most is that "the voice of hte people" seems to no longer carry any clout. That goes for politics as well. Sheer numbers and a shared committment can't seem to sway the powerful from their agendas. That scares me.

But I really don't want to rain on this parade - yeah, we made an impact and it was noticed.

I think allot was done to try and give Angel another season. Certainly the efforts of savingangel.org saveangel.org and several other places that organized and also carried out great campaigns to try and bring Angel Back deserve kudo's for there efforts, as do all the fans who wrote in, gave blood, time, supoport, that alone is worth allot!

Joss did tell fans not to stop writing, but I beleive he was more speaking of the possibility of a movie so to keep interest alive. Even he had said he did not think Angel would come back, then most know what happen last season so I suppose anything is possible

I've been a fan of Angel's since he made his first apperance on Buffy, and was happy they gave him a show of his own. I think Angel deserves another season, but I also think the big wigs don't listen to the ones that tune into there station but rather look at the bottom line. .....

I am going to watch the last six episodes and hope like many Angel gets one more season, at this point I don't see how that is going to happen....
