Appearance: Very muscular, tall, and handsome. Serious features, brown hair, and kind eyes that seem to vary between brown, grey, and blue.
Background: When he was only a baby, he was abandoned by his mother and was taken in by a martial artist name Gokken. There, he was raised and became an excellent fighter, perhaps better then Gokken. But then, Gokken died and Ryu was left with only the shrine, the shrine-worker, and his skills given to him by the man who raised him like a son. He entered many competitions to not just earn money, but to become stronger, physically and mentally.

Interesting fact o' the day: Ryu means dragon (Thus Ryu ken means Dragon Fist, so that's why most of the ki attacks end with ken...it means fist ^_~)
