*Nephrite makes his way over to Esmerauda, who is sitting on the floor. He leans against the wall, peering down at her.*
Esmerauda: What is it?
Nephrite: Nothing...just saw you come in, I know you don't have a place here.
Esmerauda: So?
*Nephrite slides down the wall til he reaches the floor. He glances over, staring at her profile. So beautiful....*
Nephrite: Not a good day, was it?
Esmerauda: Once the swelling goes down it'll be better.
*She turns revealing the nasty buise forming on the side of her face. Nephrite jumps back.*
Nephrite: Nine? Geez...
*He reachs out to her, cupping her cheek in his hand. She winces, pulling back.*
Nephrite: Sorry...I...
Esmerauda: It's nothing..it'll heal...
*Nephrite gets up, dusting himself off.*
Nephrite:Hey....you wanna get in her don't you? Why pay when you can steal. Here move...*He motions her out of the way as her pulls out a crowbar.*
Esmerauda:What are you doing.
*She rises to her feet moving for him.*
Nephrite: Getting you...a new apartment! *He exclaims, prying the door open.* Ah ha!
Esmerauda:Thanks...
*She enter inspecting the place fist, a layer of dust covers the floor and some old covered furniture but it's in pretty good shape.*
Nephrite: This place is safe...you ever need help come here ok?
*He smiles walking off. Esmerauda shut the door behind hm and locks it with the chain lock. She sighs pulling one of the covers off the old couch. She lays down on it, slowly falling asleep.*
