No Evaluation Period -- FmEdit

Subject: No Evaluation Period

On 12/10/06, I downloaded the FmEdit.zip, extracted the set-up.exe, and installed the program. When I ran if for the first time, same day, I got a error message that said that A FmEdit Registry has been tampered with. To use FmEdit further, you must register.

When I clicked on the O.K. of the error message, I entered the program. The top line said "FmEdit - Evaluation Period has expired. Please Register."

Why I am I getting no evaluation period at all?
