*Neighing a greeting to those who have
lived on this beach-side paradise prior to her arrival, her gaze instantly snaps
towards the shoreline. Her heart races as she watches the surf move its lathered
fingertips over the coast's velvety features. Seagulls wail overhead, squabbling
over a fish another bird has and the salty ocean breeze fills her spirit with
seductive promises, while it combs her mane with it's silver comb. The sounds
and scents of the ocean seemed to tickle a long distant memory that has been
lost to her ages ago. Taking a moment longer to savor these distantly familiar
sensations, the willowy mare turns her attention to grazing on the delectable
grass. Maybe later she would take time to play in the surf and to race to her
heart's content over the sand, but for now, she will rest and enjoy the company
of those who live here with her.*
