Noble & Cooley 12 x 6 Limited Edition (1991) Horizon Series Snare Drum w/Chrome Hardware, Yellow High Gloss Lacquer ($825) comparable to the CD Series today. This drum features Nodal Point lug mounting and Noble & Cooley's cam-action snares. There were only a few of these special snares made so it truly is a find (The 13th made!). It is a great sounding drum, and incredibly versatile. This gem features a Maple shell with an inside ply of Mahogany for added warmth (7 cross ply construction). It is appropriate for virtually any musical style, and can be tuned for countless voices and effects. The lugs are low-mass brass tube style lugs, and the rims are die-cast.
