Despite the frantic holiday season and cold weather, there's actually some fun dog happenings this month. In addition, all kinds of places are offering pet photos with Santa, way too many for me to list. Check your local pet store, shelter, vet, pets-on-wheels etc. Also if you need a nice calendar for 2004, Fidos For Freedom has them available at http://www.fidosforfreedom.org/ featuring the therapy dogs who help make life better for people with disabilities.

Plus, it's free although they hope you'll be generous enough to donate something in appreciation for the walk, vendors, contests and more.

Pyrs can be painted with black spots and Saints & Berners can cover up the brown with black to attempt to pass for Newfs.
For those of you who are as confused by the directions on the websites as I was, CNC meets at 1pm in the parking lot at Poly/Western High School at 1400 W. Cold Spring Lane, Baltimore, MD 21209. Plug that address into http://maps.yahoo.com/maps (or whatever your favorite mapping site is) and then your address for customized directions . Be advised that it looks to me like the parade route and back to the parking lot seems to be about 3 miles total, so wear your most comfortable shoes and bring water for your dog.
