Subject: June '04 Updates- Baltimore/DC/Annapolis Area Dog Events

Want to march with others in the first dog brigade ever, the "Crabtown Canines", in the Annapolis 4th of July Parade? Sign up before June 18th at Paws Pet Boutique, 64 State Circle, Annapolis MD 21401, 410-263-8683 http://pawsannapolis.com/ .

They're asking for a $4 donation to cover the costs of a banner - behind which you'll be marching - a bandana for each dog in the parade and water stops along the way. Any money left over after covering costs will be donated to the SPCA. Registration limited to the first 50 dogs. If this is a hit, it's planned to make it an annual event!

Sun 6/13 11am- 4pm, PHOENIX, MD: Companion Animal Care's http://companionanimalcare.com/ 3rd Annual Block Pawty to benefit Cocker Spaniel Rescue includes a dog wash, agility course, food, games, costume contest & more. Rain Date 6/27/04.

Sun 6/27 630pm, MCLEAN, VA: The Lutheran Church of the Redeemer,1545 Chain
Bridge Rd. McLean, VA 22101 http://www.redeemermclean.org/ is hosting Thank God For Pets and the Blessing of the Animals, their annual service of Thanksgiving for animals. The service is held at the entry foyer of the Sharon Keillor Wing (this is the new wing of the church). All pets under the control of their guardians are invited.
