Subject: Bristol Rovers match Author: Dave The Rave [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 22:29:58 01/13/02 Sun Well as we search once again next Saturday for a home victory, we have now exhausted all the local pubs for a pre match pint, and still we are without a win. So next Saturday we must go further afield. The Dolphin is my suggestion, meeting there at opening time, 11.00. (Remember, midday kick off!) My suggestion is therefore the Dog & Duck (just down from Portland Call). Once the new message board is up and running we could open a weekly voting booth on the subject (is that right Mark?) If we choose to go for the second of the two boards (the one which costs £10 for every 6 months) it will have the facility for all visitors to create a voting booth. That way it would be possible for anyone to put the choice of pubs or venues for a night out - to the vote! I think its superb (but then I'm easily please)
