hillel slovak war sozusagen johns mentor. er war so wie john es anfangs sein wollte, john kopierte die art wie er gitarre spielte und probierte von im zu lehrnen. er war ihm hierbei ein "lehrer" aber nicht ein lehrer zudem man einmal - zwei mal in der woche geht und dort seine gitarrenstunden absolviert.
