Hm, ich weiß nicht ganz, ob ich mich da einmischen soll, denn offenbar liegen wir da nicht so auf einer Wellenlänge, denn ich vergöttere die Strokes - aber wirklich revolutionär sind sie natürlich keineswegs.
Bezüglich "neuer, inovativer" Musik kann ich auch nur wirklich auf Bands wie The Mars Volta (und auch auf At the Drive-In)oder eben auch Muse verweisen.
Wer wirklich aufregende, rasante Musik macht, sind meiner Meinung nach die Typen von Razorlight oder auch Franz Ferdinand - wie gesagt, nicht besonders neu aber dennoch originell und meiner Meinung nach auch aufregend.
Übrigens: Nada Surf sind auch ne tolle Band (finde ich halt)....nur mal so am Rande erwähnt.

Und wer mich außer John sonst noch durch seine Musik zum Heulen gebracht hat, war am Ende der wunderbare
ELLIOTT SMITH (hört euch einmal das Lied "Twilight" von ihm an - das werdet ihr nie wieder vergessen, versprochen; Kevin Devine ist übrigens auch ganz groß!!!!)
