Also ich muss sagen, dass ich die Libertines auch sehr pfiffig finde - mir gefällt der rohe, unperfekte Sound und ihre allgemeine Einstellung zur Musik - die sind nämlich nicht auf Perfektion versessen und komplett arbeitswütig, sondern die machen wirklich nur Musik, weil es ihnen so viel Spaß macht und sie es eben nun mal lieben - auf alles andere scheißen sie....

Obwohl - sollten wir von einer Band schreiben, die nicht einmal selber so genau sagen kann, ob es sie überhaupt noch gibt? Carl Barrett hat vor einiger Zeit in einem Interview irgendwas von einer "neuen Band" erzählt. Davon abgesehen finde ich es unfair von ihm, Pete wegen seiner Drogensucht so niederzumachen, denn Carls täglicher Alkohlpegel soll ja auch enorm hoch sein - also eigentlich auch eine Drogensucht, wenn man so will (mit der er sicher auch viel kaputt macht).
Alles in allem waren die mal eine wirklich große Band aber jetzt sind leider nur mehr Ruinen übriggeblieben.
Sehr, sehr schade.
