Subject: heute mal als subjektive rezensentin, ihr auch?

sätze, die mir sofort in den sinn kamen, als ich the will to death erstmalig hörte:
>john zeigt mut zur stimme
>die velvets sind deutlich raushörbar
>der weg ist das ziel
>faszinierend, dass in so kurzer zeit sowas WUNDERvolles entstehen kann
>schön wäre es, wenn diese lieder einmal durch den weiten raum eines riesigen konzertsaales gertragen werden würden...
Jeder song ist ein kunstwerk und all diese kleinen überraschenden experimente in ihnen erzeugen einzigartige atmosphären.
dieser mann erzält einfach MEINE geschichten.
sofort verliebt habe ich mich in unchanging.
the days have turned, time runs out, wishing, a doubt und the will to death sind weitere favoriten.
ich hätte mir den gesammtsound-auch hinsichtlich des albumtitels- düsterer vorgestellt, aber diese sinnpregnanten, traurigen texte zu dieser herrlichen melodik erzeugen diese bittersüße melancholie, die john so gut beherrscht.
alles im Allem ist es ein "gemütliches stück musik" zum lufthohlenden Verweilen und Nachsinnen.
mit diesen klängen im ohr fühle ich mich überall zuhause.
