ich finde deine meinung hinsichtlich des vorhandenen "selbstverwirklichungs-facktors" interessant, weil ja in vielen twtd-kritiken das album oft als unbeherztes schnellverfahren abgehandelt wurde, aber das ist es nach meiner meinung (natürlich) nicht, weil ja eben das johns philosophie darstellt: unperfektheit = perfektheit.
Aber ich denke, GERADE WEIL der stil vorherrschend (u.a.) durch melancholie und depressivität definiert ist, "ist es john" und er hat sich mal wieder "selbstverwirklicht".
ich bin der ansicht zu großer kunst braucht man nicht viel, man kann aus nichts alles machen und um das nur immer zu sagen: der weg ist oft das ziel.
das album ist einfach wunderbar menschlich und was will man schon mehr von musik...

worüber ich mir jetzt aber mal gedanken machen gehe, ist der sachverhalt, dass john frusciante als mensch introvertiert und als musiker folglich extrovertiert ist...mit meinem nicht-gitarristenen-musikverständnis..

warum bist du davon überzeugt, dass nur wenige in den -und da stimme ich ganz zu-"hörgenuss" von twtd kommen werden? (was hast du verdammtnochmal vor?! ;)

p.s.: wenn man den song the will to death auf mono stellt, kann man sich vorstellen, john besucht dich in deinem zimmer und singt ein pures bittersüßes lied für dich...
