blue lotus feet is not a necessary purchase. in one way or another, i think all the LPs are necessary; some of the EPs, tho, are just for the serious fan -- the fanatic, geek, you might say.

i agree with that person that said "ease down the road" is a maturation. it's a great record. i felt like "i see a darkness" had some great songs, but overall they weren't captured as well as they might've been. unlike "viva last blues," the seeming spontaneity they got on record wasn't that welcome. "ease" seemed a counterpoint; it was meticulously rehearsed and recorded, or so it sounds.
