Hey guys
I met ven on aol pub quiz, decided to check out the web site. I'm in a band myself and play similar sort of stuff. I was wondering if u guys would be interested in doing a gig for charity. There will be a few local bands playing trying to a) promote the overwhelming amount of talent in the area (sort of sarcastic) and b) raise money fo 2 local, 2 national, and 1 international charity. There is not much in it for you and I don't know how big a band you are yet but, being in a band myself, I know there is not much better a feeling in life than playing a gig. Upsides: Plenty of publicy (it's not what you know...........), the buzz of playing live and prob be able to sort out some sort of accom. Don't know where you guys are from but hte gig is in Lancaster... North West. The date is yet to be finalised but there will be at least 5 bands playing.
