Well, this is a question that would probably be answered better at the end of the season, but I'll give you my impressions. The Amundson, Jackson, Terrell teams were just before my time at Pacific, so I'll have to differ to others about how good they were. Although I've heard that they were quite good and basically laid the foundation for the future success of the program.

I think this current group has a very good shot at being better than the Jacobsen, Owens, Bowens, Anders group, although that group took the Tigers to an NCAA and an NIT tournament. So that will be the criteria with which any group will be judged.

This current group of backcourt players is probably the deepest and most athletic of any of the groups of guards the Tigers have had since I've followed the Tigers (roughly 10 years).

Demetrius Jackson had an amazing debut last night (37 points leading the Tigers to victory despite being down by 21 points at one point in the game, and it appears that Maurice Mclemore has matured and is using better shot selection, so I think this group can be as good as they want to be. We will see.
