Subject: Grades for week two

The members grades for week two(my personal, subjective opinion, of course)--{overall grade for season in < >}(Grades are not based on ranking teams--rather what they have done in the preceding week to enhance the Conference reputation and RPI)

Utah State--A < A rel=nofollow target=_blank >--A decisive victory away against a name school in a higher rated conference(MWC)--Well done!

UCSB-- A- < B > Again a good away victory against a WCC team by 20--Also, well done!--

Cal Poly B- < C > A 20 pt victory at home against a WCC opponent the kind of wins we need from all our teams--

UCR C < D+ >This one is easy--The Highlanders did not play last week

CSUN-- C < C- >Played a non-Div I team--Those games can not get a grade better than a C

Pacific-- C < B- > The Tigers split in the New Mexico Tourn. The loss was, as expected, to the host team but came back against Miss State-- Non-Div game did not help although a victory--

UCI-- C < C+ > Good win to start the week against Pepperdine but not a good tourn in Pitt-- Went 1-2 and, although both defeats were to higher ranked teams from higher ranked conferences, these are the kinds of games our top rated teams have to win--

CSF-- C < D+ > A bad loss at home to a WCC team followed by a good victory at home over another WCC team --

Long Beach-- D+ < C-> -- A loss at home against a very good team--still a big loss at home looks bad when its one of our "higher rated" teams

Idaho-- D+ < D+ > A loss to Boise State, a lower ranked BWC team last year-- Gets plus because it was a away and less than 10

Score for week-- vs WCC-- 4-1; MWC 1-0; WAC 0-1; other
Div-Is 1-4
