Here's a small clip from a message posted on our website (The Beach) regarding our newest recruit (verbal):

JUCO PF Antione Jackson Verbals To Long Beach State

6'8, 235-pound banger Antione Jackson (South Plains JUCO, TX) has given a verbal commitment to attend Long Beach State. Jackson, who visited Long Beach two weeks ago (and visited Central Florida last weekend), is a well-built, physical inside player. His game is very simple, bang the boards and try to power anthing within 6-feet of the basket. Jackson's a block-to-block player, who has no aspirations of playing on the perimeter; in the words of one Div. I coach, "he's a big time sleeper, who would have had all kinds of schools after him if he were signing in the spring. A physical inside player..." So another nice junior college pickup for Long Beach and head coach Wayne Morgan; Morgan's assistant Ronnie Dean handled the Jackson recruiting.

GO BEACH!!!
