Did you know that 90% of cb related problems
are caused by the microphone?Well, its true
everything from no audio to that obvious
squealing issue of yours. Now,I don't know
if its a power mike or stock but if its a
power mic then the gain is set to high or
you have a possible grounding problem in
which case I would add a ground wire which
can never hurt.Check the gain both on the radio
and in the mike.Yes in the mike, most power
microphones have VR's inside on the circuit
board that will adjust the voltage(power)
of the amplifier.Play with it,"the mic that is."
Also,a quick reminder never let your modulation
go over 100% the excess is distortion it
will decrease your clarity and just blead
over your bandwith and on to the next channel.
See ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Da Rat.
