Are those two people you mentioned Echeveria lovers, Cena? I have got pictures on the internet from Desert Tropicals and any others I can find - but books are a great source too, although sometimes they are confused about names. I have a Succulent Encyclopaedia which has some beautiful pics. of Echeverias. To hear me talk you would think I had hundreds - I only have about 15, I think. They seem fairly easy to pick up, as they are grown outside too - I got a lovely pink one grown for bedding here which I haven't identified yet - perhaps in the new season I can send you some leaves (when all the postal crisis is over).
