Subject: cactus cutting propigation

Dear Voy forum,

I am trying to get 2 cactus cuttings to develop roots. They are currently placed in a dish with soil. I hope they develop roots fast since they are facing imminent dessication, and their survival might be threatened. What else can I do to help them develop roots?

I look forward to hearing from you soon. Also if you have any additional sources of information regarding this issue please let me know how to access it.
