Mine flowers every year at this time. I am not certain it has to do with age. Mine have been ground planted for 12 years or so. I think it has more to do with how much room they have to spread out.

I just got my Christmas early, my long awaited digital camera. I will go nuts tomorrow taking pics, then will have to figure out how to upload. I even packed off a friends obsolete flat bed scanner today; soon I will be in technology overload. If I can;t get some pics up by then, I will resign!

They have long lived flowers also. By January, I will be picking the dead bits off, but still have flowers going. Can't beat nearly three solid months of blooms even if they are smaller than a lima bean.
