I used a little four inch pot the first time. Some folks have come back and said they just used the mix in a bag... but I would end up with that all in my hair. I am NOT the most graceful of folks and try to work within my limitations!!!

I water or check the environment at least once a week. I water with filtered water then close up the bag and back on the refrig. I keep one corner of the bag hanging down that way the water is still maintaining humidity but not drowning anyone. I first kept the bag open a bit, but found it is not necessary. Do not count on being able to use the bag again for anything besides plants as it builds up a musty, dusty, mildew type smell but doesn't affect the plants at all.
