Subject: Cup of Gold

It bloomed! It bloomed!~

This is the most ackward, fast growing thing you ever saw. The easiest to propogate and pass on. Will NOT tolerate cold. It bloomed! A 'cup & saucer' type flower easily five inches across. Bright yellow with bruised purple stipes. The bloom lasted only five days, but I have been in contact with a fellow who grows it indoors in Maine of all places and gets blooms regularly.

I got a picture, if I could only figure out how to embed within a message. I have been cleaning up my Yahoo album. Its not there yet. I am so Excited. This has been in the ground for nearly five years. You do not root this, you pop the cutting right into the ground and three weeks later the leaves left on it perk up, and start growing. Solandra maxima (I think).
