廿三條立法：協進會祈禱會七月九日七至八時舉行
（7月7日消息）

【時代論壇訊】鑑於政府押後二讀基本法廿三條，香港基督教協進會原訂於七月九日（週三）晚上假中環花園道聖約翰座堂舉行的祈禱會，現改為七時至八時舉行，歡迎基督徒參加，並可在會後繼續留下祈禱，直至晚上十時正（六時至六時三刻為聖約翰座堂之週三晚禱崇拜，以英語進行）。
此外，該會亦指出七月一日有超過五十萬人上街遊行，反映出草案內容、諮詢方式、立法時間等均不為大多數香港人接納，因此作出以下呼籲：
一、全體立法會議員應以大多數香港人願意作為基本法第廿三條立法時的投票準則，為香港帶來更大的自由、民主、公義和仁愛。

二、香港市民應以和平、理性、克制的方式，繼續向政府及立法會議員表達對基本法第二十三條立法的意見，維持七月一日大遊行時所顯示的和平質素，並能堅持到底。
